May: The Spring Awakening
As ice thaws and water temperatures begin to rise, fish become more active and hunt for warm, shallow waters to spawn and feed. May is an excellent time for fishing in the shallows, sometimes near moving water, with depths ranging from 3 to 6 feet. Early mornings and late evenings tend to be the best time to get some action.
